Iveagh Rose Garden

The Souter Family, Killiney, Co Dublin / souterfamily@eircom.net / August 2003

This is the Victorian rose garden at Iveagh Park. These days I seldom go anywhere else during lunchtime. There are no hybrid teas, only old fashioned roses and they smell as good as they look. The park is full of little birds - the robins are very tame and hop around on the ground or on the back of the park benches. Given half a chance I could sit here all day. Its my idea of heaven.
