I can't believe my baby is 5 years old already. He has a lovely life here & we've tried to give him the same kind of old fashioned childhood based on the magical memories I have of my own. The photo on the right above these was taken at the playground at Malahide Castle. It is a wonderful place for children of all ages. We took a picnic lunch and spent the day there. As you can see the boys still wear the green and gold - some things last forever!

For much of St Patrick's weekend we were couch potatoes and watched the fireworks and parade on TV, but we did go to the Family Day Festival that was held in Merrion Square on the Sunday. We all had a great time. Ryan had his first ride on a ferris wheel & of course bouncy castles are still a great hit.
