Have you ever used your celeb status to get something?
Ant: No way! I don’t do things like that cos I think its bad. I like a challenge, especially where girls are concerned.
Duncan: I have. I phoned a club and said “Hi Im from Blue and my friend would like to have her birthday party at your club. Will you let us in for free? “ It worked!
When did your mum last tell you off?
A: It was just the other week. She lives next door to me and I woke her up when I was drunk going (slurred voice) “allo mum, can I have ma keys pleezze?” She want too happy!
D: My mum tells me off all the time!
Do you reckon you’re the best looking boy in Blue Dunk?
D: No. I think Simon is. I can safely say that about him, even though Im a guy. Me and Antony were talking the other day Ant always says to me “Simon is stunning” And he is! Look at his bone structure. Have a look at his eyes, the shape of his eyelashes, the structure of his face. He’s very good looking.
Is it true that the Blue lads like to wear women’s underwear?
D: I have done in the past and its quite sexy. The idea is sexy innit?
Putting on some bird’s thong - you just think to yourself “Rrrrrrrrarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!”
A: (laughing) Duncan! That’s just very wrong!
Who was the last person you slagged off?
D: I try not to slag people off cos it’s a waste of energy.
A: I slag people off every day. Like that journalist Dominic Diamond. I used to like him when I was a kid, but now he just treis to slag me off all the time, and says stuff like I should gi out and be a builder instead of a singer. When I see him Im gonna wee on his leg!
Do you ever set up your own paparazzi shots just to get in the papers?
D: I’ve never done that - I don’t crave publicity and the attention like that, Im in the papers enough as it is!
A: I never get papped - you never see me in the papers.
Ant are you bezzt mates with Posh and Becks?
A: Not really, but I am best mates with Jo Beckham, David’s sister. David lives around the corner from me. I’ve never been around to their house though, cos I really dont know them that well. But they seem very nice people.
What is the deal with you and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, Dunk?
D: Tara is my friend. She’s probably one of the only people that I’ve met in the industry that Ive got time for. I could count the celebs that I really like on one hand, Tara, Jack and Kym Ryder, The Sugababes, liberty X and Geri Halliwell.
Ant, when was the last time you kissed someone you shouldn’t?
A: Ages ago. Some random girl came up yo me and kissed me and then her bloke came over. Keep your bird on a lead mate, innit!
Have you ever snogged your mate’s mum?
D: Yeah, when I was 19! Another time my best mate John snogged his ex girlfriends mum! Three weeks later the same mum tried to get off with me!
A: I’ve snogged an older woman, but not as old as that!
Have you ever trashed a hotel room and legged it before you had to foot the bill?
A: Nah, I don’t trash rooms. I’d never do that at home, so why would I do it at a hotel
D: I have, bit I cant say where it was because I would get done for it! There were solicitors involved and everything. I didn’t think it was that bad, but they made out it was worse and tried to charge me for every thing. They said “ This was broke, that was broke” I did try and tidy it up before I left cos I felt bad!
Duncan, what do you think when you see yourself naked in front of the mirror?
D: Its not like I prance around my hotel room looking in my mirror naked! That’s not really me. I guess I would be thinking, “I need to work out more” Im quite a lazy person.
What do you really think of Simon’s band VS?
A: They are quality. Very lovely and very talented.
D: They’ve each got their own unique style. Jamie is a great rapper and Chinyere is cool, Ryan is a geezer. I like Ryan!
