How do I start, with a smile?
A laugh, the hand of a friend
I think in all truth I’ve actually began
To wake, the words of a friend
fell upon me today like an angle in hand
they were just words like any
Other in the wake of a day
But with each passing word
They started to say
There are feelings
Life, a you that once was
Can u feel the feelings with god above
Like the flutter of wings
Deep in your chest
And the joy of happiness wanting to crest
The fear of the dark is
So real and right there
I must keep focused on
The feelings and not despair
In my mind I know there must be a path
It will just be so hard to keep up
And not feel the wrath
Of the feelings and words deep with in
Trying to sway me to a different
And most notable end
I just pray that the tides of old
Will break for this day
And not wash me to sea
Then send me astray
For those few words and feelings
I remember that day
I must hold close and go on my way
Smell the air as life and life as air
With all that is wrong there
Is someone who cares
I will pray that each day
There will be joy of life
The serenity of love
Flow like the night
To dodge the shadows and pains
That I’ve know for so long
And let life again blossom, god help me along




Your words are soothing
Your feelings run deep
sometimes people wonder
Are these things to keep?
I only say what is happening
Inside a place so dear
Not meaning to cause you pain
Nor wanting to cause you fear
I send these words as wisdom
And hope they make you see
What a wonderful feeling you give me
Just letting me be me
I write what comes to mind
And careful to express
Sometimes its hard to say it
But I give it my all-time best
Words of many colors tears are sometimes shed
But remember this my friends out there
