Augusta Ada Lovelace (1815-1852) – first programmer

 

Herman Hollerith (1860-1929) – designed first storage called punched card

 

 

J.Bardeen(1908-1991), W. Brattain(1902-1987) and

W. Shockley(1910-1989) – Demonstrated a revolutionary electronic switches called transistor

 

John Von Neumann (1903-1957) – Designed the first prototype Central Processing Unit (CPU).

 

Douglas C. Engelbart (1925 – Present) – Created the On Line System (NLS) such as Hypertext, text editing and tele-conferencing.  And known as the father of the mouse.
