Here are some links to great music (more will be added). BB King is an awesome blues guitarist, who was "ahead of his time" in a manner of speaking. If you interviewed any rock star in the 70's, and asked who they listened to growing up, they'd be like, "BB King." For example, one of these was Eric Clapton, who is one of BB's greatest fans (their album they made together, "Riding with the King" is great), and who calls BB, "My hero." It is interesting how these two men, both Mozarts of the guitar, heap praise on each other (BB calls Clapton, "A genius."). I guess men of such skill have little need to talk about how great they are, 'cause their mastery of the guitar is so readily apparent. Another group of artists that bear mentioning is Dream Theater. My son, Mike, hooked me up with their album, Scenes From a Memory, which is just amazing.
