Yugi vs. Pegasus: Match of the Millennium

Pegasus: What a strong demand. I thought you hated Kaiba as much as you hate me.
Yugi: Well, maybe I'm keeping a vow of my own.

Flasback:
Mokuba: But then... what can I do?
Yami: You can start by trusting in me.

Pegasus: Ah, I see. A promise to Mokuba.
Yami: Ahh! (Did he just read my mind!?)
[No, Mokuba told him. He tells Pegasus everything. They're engaged.]

Ryou: I hope Yugi can take him. Throughout this entire tournament Pegasus has tipped the stack in his favor.
[Ryou obviously doesn't believe in the ultra-cool power of friendship. That makes him smart.]
Joey: Are you kidding!? Yugi'll kick his geester!
[Well I for one have no idea what he was trying to say. What on Pluto is a "geester"?]

Tristan: *starts to run off instead of going to the upper gallery like the others*
Ryou: Tristan, where are you going?
Tristan: +tells Ryou he's going to get Mokuba's soulless body+
Bakura: (A search for their soulless vessels, eh? Not a bad idea.)

Croquet: If you win, you can have anything you ask for as long as it is under Master Pegasus's power to do so. You can ask for this whole island, or even Industrial Illusions. You can even ask for Pegasus's Millennium Eye as your prize.
Joey: This is crazy!
Ryou: *quietly comes and stands next to them*
[So cute ^-~]
Tea: Where's Tristan?
Ryou: Oh. He wandered off somewhere, I'm not sure where.
[Now, see, this is a kinda/sorta lie. Ryou doesn't know where exactly Tristan will find Mokuba's body. However, he could have been more specific, making this a "told some, not all" situation. Thus, we can come to the conclusion that the more evil Bakura is in control.]
Joey: Probably just went to the John.
[Joey's stupid. If I was Tristan and I could see this match, I would hold it!!]

Pegasus: Take a close look at the card you hold in your hand, Yugi-boy. There's a reason that it's blank.
[I don't know about you, but I thought that this threat was very creepy, even for a girly guy like Pegasus.]

Joey: That's our Yugi. He'd do anything for anybody.
Ryou: Yes but this is the greatest gameble I've ever seen anybody take on Duel Monsters.
Tea: (Oh, Yugi, you can't lose! If you did I'd--)
[Dear Ra. *rolls eyes* Looks like wittle Tea has a crush.]

Big Five Member: Our secret alliance with Pegasus will pay off, and very handsomely.
[Yo, dodo. We can hear you.]

Yugi: (I won't lose. I can't lose!
[Actually, yes, you can, it's possible, but not very likely.]

Tristan: What have I gotten myself into? This castle is humongous. [And realization dawns. *rolls eyes*] This is worse than trying to find your friends at the mall. There's no sign of Kaiba or Mokuba. There's no sign of anybody! *sees a shadow approaching* Up, guess I spoke too soon.

Tristan: Boy, this armor's heavy.

Tristan: A tunnel. But wehre does it lead?
[Why are you talking out loud? The guards will hear you!]
Meanwhile...
Joey: This is it. I feel like we're back in the Old West, waiting for the first cowboy to draw.
[Good for you, Joey.] Pegasus: (Yugi-boy. I know all, I see all.)

Yugi: (Pegasus must be reading my mind! How else could he be so prepared for my assault?)
Pegasus: (Finally, Yugi-boy is a believer.)
[Lol. That's just funny. I belieeeeeeve that the cards have a heart. I belieeeeeeve that Joey is an idiot. And I belieeeeeeve that Mokuba's gay! We all know it's true!

Then I saw her face! Now I'm believer! Not a trace! Of doubt in my mind!

Ryou: The Millennium Eye is one of the most powerful Millennnium items. He can read anybody's mind he chooses. Anyone who opposus him should use extreme caution.
[CAUTION: Girly-man Mind-reader. Think naught thoughts to scar him. Thank you.]
Joey: I guess so. You seem to know an awful lot about that Eye Bakura.
Ryou: Just a little. One thinkg I don't know is whether or not any mere mortal can stand against it.
[Again, another clue that Ryou's been taken over. Ryou's a mortal. Mortal's don't address other mortals as mortals, therefore he wouldn't call himself a mortal! Kapeesh?

............ *sweatdrop* OK whatever.]

Tristan: With this secret staircase, they've got to be hiding somethin'.
[You know, I just may have to rethink my dubbing Tristan stupid and slow, like Joey. After all, the boy's got common sense. ...But then again, there's the hair. ]

Pegasus: Could it be? My turn?
Joey: What's that sleazeball waiting for?

Tristan: Another dead end. This way's no good either.
[Why are you talking to yourself, Tristan?]
Guard: Over here!
[Oh, crap. He's screwed.]

Yugi: Curse you, Pegasus.

Tea: He's reading all of Yugi's cards!
Joey: Don't let him psyche you out, buddy!
Tea: You can still win!
Yugi: (But how? He knows all of my cards the instant I draw them.)
