Information on Blackpool trip (in email from organisers)
Dear All,
Thanks for getting in touch with us. The tournament is now planned for Saturday 13th July 2002. It is organised by Blackpool Supporters Association (BSA) who are the Official Supporters Club of Blackpool F.C. It is an annual National Supporters 7-a-side Football Tournament in Blackpool, and we are inviting any Premier / Nationwide Supporters Clubs teams who wish to take part. It is planned to run somewhere along the same lines as last year, but we will endeavour to improve on any problems we came across last summer.
It will go somewhere along
the following lines : Football
tournament (12-6pm) / Presentations (6pm) / Return to Hotels etc (7pm) / Organized night out in Blackpool (8.30pm) Horrendous hangover (10.30am Sunday morning) optional. Obviously if any team is interested in arriving Friday night, arrangements can be made to help organise a full weekends entertainment and we can help point you in the direction of other attractions that the Town has to offer (Shows, Pleasure Beach, Restaurants etc) If any team is wishing to stop over, we will endeavour to assist in booking whatever type of accommodation they require. Pricing for the football tournament will depend upon numbers / teams confirmed, but we are looking at probably £50 entry cost per team, which covered entrance fees, pitch hire, trophies and match refreshments. So hopefully this will help give you a very rough guide price-wise. Hope that this is sufficient info for now, and if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
