White Oak High School Masonry
Hello, I am Mr. Lausterer, the masonry teacher here at White Oak High. I have been in the masonry business for twenty-four years, fourteen of which I have been teaching. Within this class, students will learn how to lay brick, block, stone and pour concrete. Past projects include: houses, concession stands, a marques, planters, benches and many concrete projects. As integrated learning is important throughout education, our vocational department works across the curriculum. The vocational classes that share combined projects are carpentry, electrical trades, agriculture and horticulture. The vocational teachers also support a highly involved VICA Club.
