Our 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu!
This pictures in this web site are a collection of the things that my wife and I love most. We both love animals, but are currently limited to just cats & dogs. We love the nature, the great outdoors and off-road vehicles. We love fast cars, particularly good old fashion american muscle cars.
We had talked about purchasing a Chevelle for years, dating back to our first missed oportunity in the late 80's. It was a 1972 Malibu with a brand new crate 350, new dark blue paint and Corvette rims. I made a lot of excuses as to why my wife (then girlfriend) should not buy this car. But really, I think it was based on me not wanting her to have a better car than my piece-o-crap Mustang.
The dream of owning a Chevelle was put off for many years. We decided to work on the basics first; finish school, find a good job and a place to keep and work on the car. I'll probably always be taking classes here or there, and we'll never have enough money, but we finally have a place to keep the car. 1 out of 3 ain't bad! It was good enough for us to start shopping.
Once we starting looking more into what tpye of car we wanted, we instantly fell in love with the 1970 model year. From there it was what can we find and what can we afford. We eventually found a Malibu suffering from "incomplete dreams". She'll never be a show car, but we'll give her a good home.
