Has anyone noticed an alarming decrease in the quality of food at Wendy's after the death of Dave Thomas? They burgers taste different - they are greaser and smaller and more overcooked - the buns are always super starchy and wet. The nuggets aren't even good anymore, and they got rid of the honey dipping sauces here. Even their drinks have been watered down. And this is the case at every Wendy's - so it seems.
My theory, that a greedy executive now has control of the franchise, and in order to gain even more astronomical profits, the executive and his team of greedy stockholders has cut every corner on quality. I have gone on a boycott against Wendy's until 2005 since the last time I ate there, the food was shit - and I knew it was going to be shit, but I decided that I would try anyway. I used to get Wendy's all the time, has it just lost its novelty? Or something more conspicuous?
Even the employees know they are serving lower quality food now. You can see it in their eyes - their eyes say something like "I know the food sucks now since the passing of Thomas, but there's nothing we can do about it". The sad look of hopelessness. I wish I could help.
Wendy's food just isn't good anymore since Dave died. I have a friend who's dad looks like Dave Thomas - and he actually went into a Wendy's once a pretended he was him, but he can't even do that anymore. Oh well, don't eat Wendy's until it gets better.
