May 26//o3 ~ Larry Brown has stepped down as Head Coach and vice president of basketball operations. He has taken the job at North Carolina state, where he used to play. May 23//o3 ~ The NBA lottery was yesterday on ABC at 8pm Eastern Time. The Cleveland Cavs won the lottery and received LeBron James. [More]

May 16//o3 ~ The final game of the season for the Sixers went belly up as Detroit took the series 4-2. In a 89-93 loss, a.i had 38 points for an awesome way to end the yr. Shooting 14-33 from the field, 1-1 from the arc, and 9-10 from the line, a.i was the man to keep the light burning for the sixers. Although he has led this this whole season, others need to step up sometimes as well. Unfortunately for a.i, this is another season gone by, and another ring lost. He did manage to end it with 3 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Thanks for a great season Ive! :) [Box Score] [Recap]

May 14//o3 ~ a.i played horrible today in the lose vs. Detroit. With only 14 points, he was one short of his career p/o low. Shooting 5-25 from the floor, 2-5 from the arc, and 2-4 from the line, the little man had 9 assists, 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Many of the other Sixers seemed to have refused to step up, and that cost them the game, giving Detroit the lead once again at 3-2. [Box Score] [Recap]

May 11/o3 ~ a.i and the Sixers come back blew out Detroit with a win of 95-82 to tie the series at 2 apiece. a.i had a great game shooting 13-27 from the floor, 1-3 from the arc and 9-13 from the line. This time, not only did he have 5 rebounds and 11 assists, he also managed to pick up 5 steals. a.i played a tremendous game, finishing with 36 points. [Box Score] [Recap]

May 1o//o3 ~ The Sixers finally managed to take a win against the #1 seed Detroit at home with a score of 93-83. a.i shot 9-23 from the floor, 0-1 from beyond the arc, and 7-8 from the line. He had another solid game but with only 25 points this time. He grabbed 5 boards, threw 11 assists and picked off one steal. Next game at home tomorrow. [Box Score] [Recap]

May 8//o3 ~ While Detroit pulls away with another victory at home, the Sixers need to regroup and prepare for battle once again in two days. Iverson had a solid game with 31 points, shooting 12-29 from the floor, 1-5 from the arc, and 6-11 from the line. Carrying the Sixers with 2 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals, a.i just couldn't do it all. The Sixers need to come away with a victory on Sat. night or the they will be down 3-0 in the series. May 6//o3 ~ The Sixers lost their first game of the second round to Detroit with a score of 87-98. a.i shot 8-21 from the floor, only 1-5 from beyond the arc, and 10-12 from the line. Although he had 3 rebounds and 8 assists, a.i came away with only 27 points. Compared to his last performance of 47, this lil man should step up just a bit more. [Box Score] [Recap]

May 2//o3 ~ The Sixers clinched the final win over N.O with a score of 1o7-1o4 to advance to the next round. a.i shot 14-30 from the floor, 4-10 from beyond the arc, and 13-18 from the line. April 3o//o3 ~ Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant and Jermaine O'Neal are added to the senior USA basketball team. The team consists of Mike Bibby, Ray Allen, Tim Duncan, Jason Kidd, Tracy McGrady, and John Stockton. The head coach is none other than Larry Brown. [ more ]

April 3o//o3 ~ The Sixers suffered a tough loss again to the Hornets. The series is now at 3-2 with the next game at NO. a.i had a solid game with 11-25 from the floor, 1-3 from beyond the arc and 7-9 from the line. In the last seconds the Sixers had a chance to take the win, but Van Horn was stripped of the ball and created a turnover for the Sixers. April 28//o3 ~ The Sixers beat the Hornets today to lead 3-1 in the best of seven series. Although a.i was only 9-28 from the field, 3-7 from the arc, and 1-2 from the line, the team played very well to clinch a 96-87 win. Eric Snow had a tremendous game. Good Job!! [Box Score] [Recap]

April 26//o3 ~ The Sixers suffered their first lost vs. the Hornets today. Allen Iverson was limited to 10-29 shooting, only 1-6 from beyond the arc and 7-8 from the line. a.i didn't play a very good game and the Sixers suffered a loss. April 23//o3 ~ The Sixers beat the Hornets once again at home with a score of 9o-85. Iverson was once again leading scorer, but this time with 29 points. He shot 11-27 from the floor, 6-12 from the line, and 1-4 from beyond the arc. He had 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists. April 2o//o3 ~ The Sixers beat the N.O Hornets in the first game of the 2oo2-o3 playoffs with a score of 98-9o. Iverson lead the NBA in scoring that night with 55 points. He was 21-32 from the field, 1o-11 from the line, and 3-5 beyond the arc. A great game by a.i and the Sixers. a.i also had 4 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals. Next game at home on April 23.
