This tutorial teaches you to extract the background from an image.

Steps:
1. Open up the image you want to extract in Photoshop.
2. Now you go to Image>>Extract. It should look like this.
3. Select the highlighter tool (
) and highlight it around the image.
4. Now select the floodfill tool (
) and floodfill the inside of the highlighted part.
5. Your image should look like this now. The red part is the hightlighted & the green part is the floodfilled.
6. Now you click on PREVIEW and the background of the image should be all gone now. If some parts are still there, erase it using the clean-up tool (
)
7. And then you could use the edge touchup tool (
) for making the edges look more sharper.
8. When you are finally happy with your result, click OK and tada, the background is now extracted from the image.
