Here, God challenged Gideon to decrease his army to just 300 soldiers in order to prove Himself as the Almighty. As Gideon was obedient in listening to the Lord, God kept His word and defeated the enemy. The "Gideon 300" is simply a group of people who have committed themselves to give $1 a day for the whole year, or $365.00. You may give this amount monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Please do not feel as though you have to give a certain amount.

In Mark 12:41-44, Jesus shares of a woman who gave two pennies in the offering. As small as this may seem, she gave all that she had and it was more than anyone else. We ask that you prayerfully consider the amount God wants you to give. God knows your heart and knows the depth of your giving. Remember that your gift will not come back to you void. Luke 6:38 says, "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall men give unto your bosom."
