Painting the Vespa
Friday, July 18, 2003

Yesterday, Kaufoo, Darren and me embarked on a mission of re-painting Darren's Vespa. We started at around 2:30pm and finished at around 10:30pm. Full 8 hours of spraying colors, applying laquer, squatting, bending, dis-assembling & assembling, masking taping newspapers, sparring, bowling with empty spray cans as pins and of course, making fun of Kaufoo. No outing will be complete without that.

Went for 2 interviews today in the end... One don't hire malaysians so i didn't bother to go, as for the other, the job opening wasn't wat i was looking for exactly so did not go too. The Interview went quite smoothly but i roughly got the feeling that the interviewer wasn't that keen in hiring me. Another failed interview......hai~
Went to Sim Lim after that to get a new hub and a network card to network the computers in my house together. Setup was done by my elder brother and everything is working perfectly now. The hub that i bought was a cheapo 'bo mia' (Not branded) one that cost just S$15 (the network card cost S$15 also.. hahah). At first, i was abit skeptical you know, thinking to myslef 'how to use such low class things??'. But only after much persuation by my father and brother did i decide to buy it. Guess that the moral of the story is 'Not all bo mia things suck'. hahahha, you'll learn something new everyday!
This dumb kaufoo (one of my friend) is making noise asking me to book the billiard room so i need to stop here liao. Kau u SUCK Maaaaaaan

Can't sleep
Wah laoo, cannot sleep leh. i got 4 interviews tomolo one lehhhhh. currently chatting with my indonesian friend (whom i met in college while i was studying in malaysia). Talking abt malaysia, they have recently started another 'singapore is always wrong' campaign, with NEAC (national economic action council) publishing a full page advert on New Straits Times saying how singapore profitted from the water deals. Even as a malaysian myself, i think that the they (pple at NEAC) are starting to be abit too childish. A treaty is a treaty, we should honour and abide by wat is stated in it. Dunno wat are going through their brains man. The malaysian press ain't helping much either, always publishing damning articles abt singapore. I wonder when this nonsense will end...
