Kozo!

Now this character is just plain scary. Kozo Takeda resembles in some ways the character Sagat, from the capcom Street Fighter series. Just looking at Kozo (Brrr…scary) and his baldhead it seems evident that he's a tough, tried and tested veteran (either that or he cuts himself with his razor often). Not only does it looks like he conditions his face on sand paper, but he also fights like his face looks. Turtleing is the name of his game in which he let's his opponents come to him. When they come, he keeps his guard high and he keeps calm. After he weathers their storm, he then tries catching them with a counter (and dude his punches and leg kicks look like they'd squash banana bunches no problem). Repeat as desired or until knockout.

It's Mr. Takeda today.

Kozo is a fighter who's been around for a while and (we hear) has built himself a large record, yet due to lack of medium, we did not hear of him until the 2003 K-1 J max. In that tournament, he stuck to his turtle game and it seemed to work well for him. Throughout the entire tournament he kept incredible relaxed through out all three of his fights. He won his first two easy, giving serious ouch affect to the second guy with his leg kicks. He then fought the final against Masato.

Who ya want me to kill?

Against Masato, Kozo continued his hero in a half shell approach, and countered with damaging leg kicks (giving Masato a big boo boo on his front leg). Once again Masato could of won using good looks alone, but opted to go with a quick in quick out strategy instead. His focus was more on fast hand combos rather than one hit wonders and somehow he survived those leg kicks. In the end it went to decision with Masato convincingly coming out on top. Overall though, Kozo is scary
