Ant Hospital is a complex and fun version of tag. In the game you start off with some shoes (30% of players), ants (60%) and ant doctors (10%). The shoe's role is to tag the ants (in the game this is known as stepping). The role of the ants is of course to avoid this. Once tagged though, an ant will have to lay on its back, wave it's arms and legs, and constantly yell "ant hospital." The any hospital is a neutral region in the game in which these squashed ants are taken. The ant doctors job is to rescue squashed ants and take them to the ant hospital. This is done with a home made stretcher (on wheels would be nice). Once an ant is taken to the hospital, it then sits and is operated on for 1 minute before returning to the game. The game is played to infinity (perfect for parties) and is both competitive (athletes like that), in that there are defined roles which are opposing, and noncompetitive (wall flowers like that) because there are no winners and losers. What a incredible game.

For a kickboxer, playing any hospital is bad news. Here's what it looks like:

This is Bob "the Beast" Sapp(heavyweight), playing ant hospital. Notice he is on his back with his arms and legs in the air.

Even skilled kickboxers play ant hospital sometimes. This is Albert Kraus (the Dutch version of Rocky) after being knocked out by Greek Mike Zambidis.
