Chapter 4

After about what seemed like an eternity, the door finally opened and the all craned their necks and looked up to see who had answered the door.

Standing in the doorway was a teenaged boy with spiky blonde hair. (They couldn’t see what color his eyes were because they were so small.) He was wearing baggy, shiny black pants with pockets on the knees and white stitching, a button-down white shirt with black designs, and tightass white shoes.

”He looks like a penguin,” AJ mumbled to Nick. “It reminds me of Ashley.”

”Hello?” said the teenager, “Hello? Is anyone there? I swear to God I’ll call the police if you’re playing ding dong ditch with me!”

”Down here!” they yelled as loud as they could. The boy looked down and his expression switched to shock. He eyes went wide and now they could see that they were dazzling blue, warm, kind, and gentle.

”His eyes remind me of Ashley’s,” whispered AJ.

”Holy moly! You’re little people! I didn’t think it was possible to slip through the dimension barrier between our world and yours.”

”Dimension barrier?” said Kevin, a little confused.

”Yeah! Welcome to the second dimension of Orlando, Florida. Your world is the first dimension. The people in the third dimension are even smaller than you!”

”What do you mean?” asked Howie.

”Well, you guys are about as tall as my eye. The people in the third dimension are about as tall as your eye. To them, you’re as tall as us. Judging by what I see, you’re the first dimension Backstreet Boys.”

”Wow! How did you know that?”

”We have all the same superstars as you do.”

”There’s one difference though,” said AJ.

”What’s that?”

”You’re definitely a lot hotter than we are.”

”True that, true that but you guys are a lot hotter than the ones in the third dimension. I’m Ashley by the way.”

”No wonder why he reminded you of Ashley, AJ,” said Nick, “That’s who he is.”

”Would you like to come in?”

”Sure!” they all shouted. Ashley set his hand down so they could all climb onto it. Then he carried them inside and shut the door.

”Who was at the door, little bro?” asked a voice from the couch.

”Them,” Ashley said, letting them off on top of the coffee table. “The first dimension BSB.”

”Wow, are you serious?” The voice on the couch turned out to belong to the second dimension Dan Miller. He had the messy style hair and a bout an inch of it, from the root up, was brown. The rest of his hair was green. Now he looked down at BSB with great astonishment on his face.

”Yep, I’m serious.”

”Hey, baby bro, come here a minute!” BSB all watched as Erik Estrada came jogging into the room.

”What’s up big bros?”

”Look who Ash just brought in,” he said and indicated BSB on the coffee table.

”Whoa! Isn’t that the first dimension BSB?” Erik said, looking at them.

”It sure is,” responded Ashley. Just then, they heard yelling in the distance.

”Jacob Christopher Underwood, you get your little white ass down here now!”

”Uh-oh, looks like Trevor’s mad at him again,” said Ashley.

”I wonder what he did this time,” said Dan.

”Let’s go see,” said Erik.

”Hey, what about us?!” shouted AJ as Ashley, Dan, and Erik proceeded out of the room.

”Oh, sorry,” said Ashley, returning to scoop them up in his hand again.

When they got to the stairway, Jacob was just descending the bottom stair. He had crazy, black ringlet curls and deep blue eyes. Trevor was standing next to the stairway with an angry expression on his face, his arms folded across his chest, and his foot was tapping.

”You yelled your highness?” Jacob said sarcastically.

”Wipe that sarcasm from your voice young man!”

”Sorry. What do you want?”

”I just got a call from your principal.”

”Yeah, so?”

”He said that you got an F on your George Washington report and that you were in detention six times today, six! That’s one time per class period baby brother! Do you wanna explain this to me?!”

”Yeah, well about one or two of those detentions was my fault. The other four or five, I was framed. As for the report, Ms. Swanson is out to get me. You can’t say that’s not true this time because you helped me get it to A+ perfection and it still got an F! You want more proof?! All those tests in her class that I got an F on, I looked up all the answers and really should’ve gotten A’s or B’s! I’m telling you big brother, she’s out to get me!”

”Alright, alright, I’ll set up an appointment to go talk to her.”

”Does this mean I’m not grounded?”

”Yes, it means you’re not grounded.”

”Wait a minute,” said Kevin, “If Jacob’s Trevor’s baby brother, why is Trevor treating him like he’s his son?”

”They lost their parents and their house in a tragic fire when Jacob was two and Trevor was four,” Ashley said.

”But aren’t they both the same age?”

”In number yes, but technically, Jacob is younger than Trevor by two years.”

”So, how did they survive after the fire?”

”Trevor decided that since he was the oldest, he had to do whatever it took to keep his brother alive and healthy.”

”So, what’d he do?”

”He gave up his childhood and got a job. With the money he made, he was able to buy a house, put food on the table, and put both Jacob and himself through school. Where they are now really symbolizes the saying ‘good things come to those who wait’. I think he’s done a great job raising Jacob.”

”It sure seems that way,” said Howie.

”Well, I’m gonna start dinner now,” said Ashley and he handed the little BSB over to Dan. Then he hurried to the kitchen.

”Whatcha got there Dan?” Jacob asked.

”This is the first dimension BSB.”

”Oh wow!” shouted Trevor and he and Jacob moved in to get a better look. “Hey little guys,” he bent over to speak to them, “Welcome to the second dimension.”

”Thanks,” said AJ. “I’m AJ and this is Brian, Howie, Kevin, and Nick.”

”Nice to meet all of you,” said Trevor and Jacob.

”You too,” said all of BSB.

”I was wondering,” said Dan, “Would you guys like to stay for a few days before we return you to the first dimension? Please say you would.”

”How many days were you thinking?” asked Kevin.

”Oh about three or four.”

”Well, we can do three but we’d have to go home on the third day because we have a photo shoot, autograph session, and a concert on the fourth day.”

”Done!”

”Dinner!” Ashley shouted from the kitchen and they all went in to eat.

A/N: Just so you guys know, looks like hair color and eyes and what they are wearing as well as switched around ages, like the family relationships between members, are my own imagination. For the looks, I had to come up with a way for the second dimension O-town to look hotter than the ones we knew so I hope you liked my little bit of change. Next chapter will be up as soon as I can type it.
