First came across the song in some cheesy teen-flick one very late saturday night. The band was doing a cameo as themselves in it,  belting out a number of their songs during the heartwarming prom night finale. And it was then I caught Heaven and  wow. You know how it is some songs seems to always make you feel so nostalgic? Well, Heaven is one of them. It reminds me of what it feels like to be in high school all over again - Late night phone calls, dumb-assed jokes  and all. Sigh...

Do check out their songs like Ren and the high-energy Hear. Its a pity they've since disbanded. Sigh, good music is always so hard to find...

From the soundtrack of  10 Things I hate about You, when I first listened (on the behest of my good friend) to it, I was so taken by the rawness and power behind the song. Can't seems to find the words to describe it  but Your Winter managed to convey the strength behind true love and how we could go on because of this strength. Hmm. Now I hope I'm making sense here (can't help it, writing ain't my forte:) Try downloading the song from the net and get yourself re-acquainted on what it is like to plunge headlong into true love and immersed yourself in its embrace.

Laura Fygi sings with much soul here, charming us with such ease. Her silky voice is a pleasure to hear, and coupled with the song's simple but sincere lyrics, I can't help but fall totally in love with the song. Hers is one of the most wonderful voice you can find these days, and I am sure you would enjoy this classics from her.:)

So you think you  know Jack Black? Comedienne extraordinaire? But did you know he is also one half of a rock band called Tenacious D with Kyle Gass? Well, I came to know about this group after searching for materials on the movie, School of Rock, and let me tell you, they really blows my mind away. Their lyrics are such simple works that sometimes they seems so inadequate for the storm of feelings behind them. But in actuality, it is these simple words that seems so appropriate, so powerful, so moving.

Wonderboy seems to tell us the reason behind the forming of the band (at least from what I can understand) in a child-like manner. Somewhat like the first time you realized that you biggest dream is to go the moon and check the black beyond...
