Back :: 22.April.2003 11:29pm me Spent quite a huge chunk of my time recently surfing thru the weblogs of other people. From the cool to outrageous, realized that there really is a lot of talented people out there lost in the electron sea. You know how it is that we are constantly being told that we are unique and that there isn't anyone else like us. Going thru my life, I always felt that, yes, I am unique and that I could go on to do some good work. And that my mix of small talents in arts and writing (I'm hoping here) is what would get me thru my life and find me success. Sigh. (there it comes again). Not so for the past few days... There are so many people out there like me trying to find the light, some more talented, some less so. Makes for a humbling experience. A question is asked here - "What if I am just like everyone else? Just another addition to the statistics?". And existential panic sets in, and the mind goes wandering. A fren

20.April.2003 1:05am growing up Quirky twist to this nostalgic character from our childhood here here. Kewl.:P Sigh, seems like a friend is going thru some sort of crisis/depression thingy. Guess because I haven't had any of those traumatic experience so I can't really understand her situation. I alwiz thot that being happy or sad is a personal choice. Life's not going to give you extra credits for going all teary. So wrote an email to her, trying hard to be as frank as possible without being too blunt, asking her to take charge of her life and move on. (at least that was what I think I was writing about) Hope it works. Hmm, wonder if she will ever visit this site? Heard of Ruby and the Romantics? they had a quote which I have alwiz found encouraging and somewhat comforting. "our days will come if only we wait a while" Last words: Exam shazam Kazam. Sigh. note. stop sighing, my friend was commenting on the high numbers of sighs in my entries haha.:P

Prehistoric viewfinder, no flash, manual winding, everything about it seems so much like an adventure... OK. serious business here. 16.April.2003 5:35am life sux That's the msn nick of a friend of mine and it perfectly sums up our lives now - sucky. The phrase used to be my motto during one particularly depressing period and why? Because it is so damn versatile and easily modified. Like: Life sux + today / yesterday / tomorrow / all the times / everyday. See :) Sigh, back to my books Added a new sections Alleyways. 11.April.2003 4:30pm finally Who knew it would be so damn hard to get a site up. Finally got it hosted at angelfire. Hopefully there won't be any problems with the hosting. Sigh only 20mb of space available, won't be able to put any song clips and stuffs. Even pixies (not the fairy kind) would be a stretch. Anyone with free space out there to spare.. anyone? A good fren of mine, KC missed out on being the first one at the site (that would be me!) so in order to show my appreciationz for his kind support, he shall be the first friend to be mention in my site. Cheerios. Sigh, should be studying now. Exams in exactly 9 days time. Been so caught up in this whirlwind of setting up the site though... All I can say is David Blaine rocks! Caught the new season of his show on TV just now. WoW. Perform a levitation in front of a bunch of people in the middle of a busy walkway. Ahhhh!!!! Unbelievable. Would really want to catch him in person and have him perform something for me... even if its that freaky pencil-thru-his-tongue trick. :P Oh yah, Real Madrid rocks too!:) What a classy performance they put up against Man U last night. Raul is truly superb and Zidane was just magical (in his own way of coz:P) in the way he handled the ball. The England side just seems so uninspired and lumbering in contrast. Mmmm... qte happy, been a while since I seen any good soccer action now... *contented*

No new addition to my mp3 list for a while now. Well, beside Sister Hazel, found a couple of new songs mostly from the 10 Things I Hate About You soundtrack. Try out Jessica Riddle's Even Angels Fall. Hmm, realized that teen shows alwiz have quite a good soundtrack...

01.April.2003 1:18pm unaccomplished Been quite a while now. I guess I was caught up in all that "study" stuffs you find in education these days. Not that it was all work no play. Directed another play this semester. Can't say it was another Chicago but I'm quite happy that I did better this time round... at least I thought I did. Kinda disappointed when the results for our extra-curriculum points came out. Didn't do as well as I thought. These are the kind of things that gnaw at you slowly over time and time and time and time again. Sigh. Unappreciated. Think I am just being an idiot. Atta boy.
