sonik alchemy was created as an avenue to self-release and has blossomed into its' present form which includes some distro for other artist, production work, tour management and booking and performance/multi-media art. the label was founded 4 years ago and lingered in the back ground for a year or so till anything was released. we are looking to create video and dvd releases in the coming year and hope you will check them out when they arrive.
News
16 june 05 - we have begun new audio and video creations in the last few weeks. there is a new collaborative cd with justice yeldham, man manly and shitoba all playing together in radio student slovenia last year. also coming soon is a new 7" split with man manly and dave phillips. as well, there are some new video projects and dvd projects which the right reverend himself is laying his hands upon to bring them to a joyfull public. more news as to dates will follow and check the catalog to see what is new.
11 sept 04 - we have been rather inactive this summer and that is coming to an end quite soon. several things are currently being recorded and prepared for release with details to follow as dates get set for release. also man manly is participating in a work where 9 people take work from origami republica and manipulating it each in there own unique way. all these works will debut in norway this fall at a special evening featuring this and other works by origami republica and tore honore boe. more details to follow. otherwise there are a few new things in the works and they will be more news when details are finalized. right now man manly is being filmed for a documentary/art film being made about him with a release in late fall of this year.
22 june 04 - man manly is still playing shows all over europe including a tour with emil beaulieau and gen 26 in slovenia next month. see the calendar page for more details as they become available. also man manly is now based, for the time being, in zurich switzerland and is currenly working on new material between travels and shows. we are also putting together new studio equipment which is portable so we can records and create new works while on the road. all current new releases are on hold till this studio is finished. thanks for understanding as this is a bit of a time consuming process. we do have a phonographistic cd that will be out shortly when we can get the duplication underway so hat should be something to wet your appetites for a bit. this is the first official release from the phonograhistic project which is field recordings and processed sounds mixed for a lush sound sculpture. tentative name as of now is journeys. so please check it out and i will let everyone know when copies become available.

13 april 04 - man manly is presently touring europe with more and more dates being added. looking for shows in june-august presently so if you have any info or want to book email us. also we have a new CD from phonographisitic coming out in may as well as a split with tore honore boe, and a new group called girls and one boy make noise. all these releases are due out this summer and should be a quite nice addition to any CD collection. finally plans are falling into place for a at least one 7 inch LP to be released this year. details are to follow when they arrive.
29 jan 04 - we have a new project featuring man manly and odal called rectäl probe the title is opus ii and it can be found on the catalog. it features over forty-five minutes of crazy/silly shit noise for your listening pleasure. the new tO Be SoNIc cd is out now. also due out this spring look for splits man manly and gen 26 also several more coming. see the rotkop zine and cds both the edition called drunk and the new one due out soon called terror for tracks from man manly as well as many others. finally a brand spanking new man manly cd is out just finished and released the beginning of febuary. all the new ald existing catalog can be seen at the catalog page so check it out.
nov 2003 - we are always looking for new works to possibly be released and other artist to work with for one or more of the on going projects. the shortwave sessions are an on going project consisting of several artists from around the world contributing works to a collaborative piece. volume one is currently available so see the catalog page for info. we are collecting audio presently for volume two so far with contributions by members of tbttbc and bruno dorella. this should be exciting.
nov 2003 - we are also in the process of booking a spring tour 2004 for europe with 30 plus dates planned and a late fall 2004 tour of the United States followed by a tour of japan and possibly Australia and New Zealand winter of 2004.
