Sgt. Frank M. Goza from
Lookout Mountain,Ga. served
in Iraq from March 2003 Until
the end of Dec. 2003. While
there he was given the
honor of being the oldest
fighting Soldier in combat in
the U.S.Army. At the age of
59 and being 3 months shy of
having in 40 years in the
Service, he was forced
retired when he turned 60
years old yesterday, 1/19/04
on the day of General Robert
E.Lee's Birthday.

Frank spent 20 yrs in the
U.S.Air Force where he
trained dogs for the U.S.A.F.
Air Police. After retiring
from the Air Force he re-
enlisted in the U.S.Army
Pistol Team where he was the
top marksman in the world
with a 45 automatic. While on
the Pistol Team he was sent
all over the world to teach
other Servicemen to shoot
the 45 & 9 mm pistols.
