Small Deliberations... my thoughts on nothing

snow and silence
i love how snow makes the city seem calm. serene. it hushes everything, sounds are blurred in the white. i'm sure there is some scientific reason why, sound waves bouncing around are absorbed and quieted by the blanket of flakes, but i'll attribute it to the beauty. people just calm down...
i'm peaceful.

(micro)economics. what am i studying? what does this all mean, and do i really care?

and so i concentrate on coffee and because of caffeine:
coffee. grounds. dry, they smell better than coffee actually tastes... and i love the taste of coffee. milk, no sugar. unless i crave sweetness, which i do out of boredom in times like these. but the smell of vanille et noisette freshly ground coffee beans.... is heaven in the morning and late at night struggling to stay awake.

its not yet late, but i'm tired and bored of this. text and words that mean nothing. this isn't literature, its the world written into money terms, markets and action and money. i hate these aspects of the world.

beginnings
today is a beginning of sorts. the beginning of the end of my first semester of university. and the beginning of my two weeks of study. the grind, the countdown, final exams scare me.

i can't wait until the christmas holiday...
- tangerines and clemintines
- pine needles
- shortbread
- warm fireplaces
- cold days
HOME....

i made vegetable soup for dinner. carrots, onions, tomatoes, peas and corn. and garlic of course.
and i'll eat it with some soy bread. sounds healthy, i want some chocolate.
