A Dad is someone who is loving and kind,
Who always cares what's on your mind.
He's always there for you and never pretends,
He could be one of your very good friends.
He's proud of your successes,
But when something goes wrong,
He can be helpful,loyal,and strong.
Always remember that his love plays a part,
And always have room for him deep in your heart.
Always be thankful,and then you'll be glad,
Glad that he'll always be your great Dad!

Some men rise above the others,
They are kind and loving to no end,
Their wisdom is incredible to those who hear,
All life's hurts, they can mend.

You run to him when you are hurt,
Or when you are afraid,
He'll chase the monsters out of your closet,
For you, he always has prayed.

He is your guardian and foundation,
To pay him back, thank him tonight,
When he tucks you in your bed,
And whispers to you, "Sleep tight."

You'll never have to worry,
He can always relate,
You're safe at his side,
Among all men, fathers are great.
