O I love this idea, we should all publish a mobile number on our blogs and invite anonymous texting :)

Instead of a flashblog, it'll be a flashtext. Do you want to suggest a time/date for texting? Or should we just do it randomly?

My number is quite catchy so unfortunately people tend to accidently give it out when giving someone a fake number instead of their own. I get text messages like that, and they never seem to believe I'm not the person they thought I was. If you text back, you could no doubt fuck with them as they don't seem particularly bright, although by spelling correctly they might not understand you :)

No one I know seems to know how to send/receive text messages. V. inconvenient.
