TO COPY AND PASTE THE DOCUMENT

There are two ways to copy a document. One way is to copy the entire document. The other way is to select just the part you want.

TO COPY THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT

After you find the document you want, hold down the Ctrl Key and peck the A key. That will highlight the entire document. Now go up to the menu bar and click on Edit and then on Copy. That will put a copy of the document on your clipboard.

Now open your word processor.

go up to the Menu bar and click on Edit and then on paste. That will put the entire document on your word processor ready to edit, save, and print. This is the easiest way but you will have to delete the advertising before you print it. A cleaner way is to select just what you want. READ ON!

COPY AND PASTE PART OF A DOCUMENT

Decide what part of the document you want to copy. Then highlight just that part of the document by

1.      Putting your mouse I-beam where you want to start to highlight in the upper left corner of the document

2.      Then holding the left mouse button drag diagonally across the document to the lower right corner.

3.      Let up on the button when you have highlight all you want to copy.

Now go up to the Menu bar and click on Edit and then on Copy. That will put a copy of the document on your clipboard. An alternative for copying is to hold down the Ctrl key and peck the C key. That will do the same thing.

Now open your word processor and go up to the Menu bar and click on Edit and then on Paste. That will put the entire document on your word processor ready to edit, save, and print. An alternative for pasting is to hold down the Ctrl key and peck the V key. That will do the same thing.

COPYING A DIAGRAM OR PICTURE

Put your mouse arrow in the middle of the diagram or picture.

RIGHT CLICK - that will give you a menu. (Right clicking always gives a menu)

On the menu left click on Copy. That will put a copy of the diagram or picture on your clipboard.

Open your word processing software.

Now click on Edit on the Menu bar and then on Paste.

That will put the picture on the word processing document ready to edit, save and print.
