Hi All:
..."As the whole sale slaughter of Indians continue one cannot
help but notice that the commander in chief of the Armed Forces is
an Indian. A man who had the privilege of being the Chief Guest at
the this years Parvasi
Divas ceremony in India. He has gone on record as
saying that it is foreigners and people from Buxton who are
committing the crime"
Based on
expressions of disappointments (as above), are Guyanese Indians and
other PIO's to conclude that the government of India seems
interested only in 'photo ops' plus
their talents and investment money? If not, and India is genuinely
interested in our affairs, why doesn't not take concrete action to
alleviate the suffering of our people? For starters, why not use
some kind of moral persuasion on President Jagdeo to redresss the
racial imbalance within the disciplined forces? Surely, with one of
the largest and finest fighting forces in the world, the government
of India is in the best position to assist PIO's? For example,
forget about building the Cricket
stadium next to
Georgetown. Build it on the Courentyne, at Leonora, or in Anna
Regina. (Building
it in Georgetown is like building it in Buxton).
