<History>
P.U.S.H
Aloha
started up in late March with only 15 members. Throughout the months
ahead, it has grown to an attendance of 22 members including the Youth
Leaders.
Where did "P.U.S.H Aloha" come from?
P.U.S.H
was given to us by a simple little key chain that was
hanging around Lani's, Youth Leader, neck during a youth group camp out in
Miloli'i. A very special person to all of us came up with the meaning for
those four letters. Couple months later, another important person to the
pack, Uncle Walter Boy, came up with ALOHA and the meaning behind those
letters. From then on, we combined those two words and the Miloli'i Youth
Group went under the Youth name of P.U.S.H. Aloha!
What Camp Out did this group originate from?
It was during late March when different Christian Youth groups came to Miloli'i
for a camp out. They came from all over the island; Hilo, Kohala, Ocean
View, and Pahala. Including Miloli'i. The theme of the camp was "SOLD
OUT". The meaning behind that was, everything we are and will be,
we are "SOLD OUT" for Jesus.
Who touched this Youth Group?
It was Heavenly Father who laid his hands upon us and blessed us
with such joy and happiness. Through his teachings and love, we began to
grow a strong bond between everyone around us. We learned how to work
together as one. Because of him, we are striving in glory today.
