Police are now saying that the group responsible for last Thursday's Car Bomb explosion, which killed 11 People and wounded 15, was the revolutionary terrorist group The Southern Cross. The Southern Cross, which is suspected to be behind the Cafe Bombing on Elizabeth st late last month, as well as the Car Bombing of the Assistant to the Secretary of Defence in Canberra and the home invasion and murder of the Chinese Deputy Ambasador, whilst not claiming responsibility for the attacks, is the only group with the resources to mount them.

A recent press release by the AFP and the Ministry of Public Security said that recent raids had effectively dismantled the organisation, and that life can now return to normal, as there is no threat to public saftey.
