As much as possible, involve women in the ownership/building/design of the building.
Encourage users (particularly women) to be involved in the design process.
Building should feel open, inviting, and friendly.
Make spaces feel intimate. For example, if it's economical, use curving walls or varying floor heights.
Make initial drawings feel as loose as possible to avoid giving the impression that they are "finished". This way, clients and designers feel more free to change the design.
