You don't even realize how much worse it'll get.
Nose to nose, we're yelling our lungs out,
Sticking to our arguments like there is no doubt.
I was saying things I never dared say,
Left unsaid cuz I knew I'd have to pay.
But this time it was different, this time it was rare.
So out of the ordinary that people would stop and stare.
Everything is so calm as I go to lay,
But I'm silently still screaming my whole life away.
