Welcome

This site is devoted to the survivors of the abuse of a narcissist. If you are a survivor yourself then we welcome you and wish you hope and love with your own path to healing. Remember you are not alone. You are not his first victim and sadly you will not be his last.

If you are here out of curiosity, these pages may provide an awareness of what a narcissist is and we are hoping armed with this knowledge, you will be able to see the red flags in the early stages, to protect yourself emotionally and financially and avoid the "cage" of becoming a victim. Do not under estimate the possibility that a narcissist could even be in your life right now; to the outside world they are camouflaged by a savvy veneer of intellect, charm and flattery. For their selected their victims, who see the false mask drop, they routinely lie, create drama, manipulate, devalue us, use people, and then abruptly discard their victims from their world with no remorse.

For many of us research on personality disorders is not a priority in our hectic lives, we just get the feeling that something is "not quite right" until one or more caring souls point out that this persons bizarre self centered child like behavior appears to be that of a narcissist. You wander to a site like this one and see the fog finally lifted. Their behavior fits the description to a "T".

It’s estimated that at least 1% of the population has NPD, 75% are men, but how accurate is this estimate? They weave a web of lies and manipulations to cloak their evil from the world. Victims often in the end face the trauma of their rage and threats in an attempt to regain control and to keep them as silent victims. Now consider how many victims a narcissist will emotionally scar forever in their lifetime.

We created this site as a small step forward – We are starting to break the chains of silence.

This site is on going a work in progress.

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by each experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." - Eleanor Roosevelt
