One of the main focuses for the NDPL defence sector is introducing a new positive relationship with the Deviations and Offences of the Fringes. We will start by offering to build a new township for the people of the Fringes in exchange for their friendship and cease of raids through Waknuk and Rigo. This town will include two schools, a hospital, town hall, many farms, a government office, as well as several farmhouses for the residents to move into. The Defence/Military sector will highly consider ‘paying’ local residents of Waknuk and Rigo with food or farms for their volunteer work on building this new town. The whole purpose of this kind gesture is to gain and maintain a purposeful positive relationship with Deviations and Blasphemy’s so that they will hopefully end their violent raids on our towns. We, the NDPL, have found that these frequent raids on our towns are putting our people in danger, and we need to act now. Although helping these mutants may not sound like a good idea to many people, it will help us in the future, when our children and children’s children are targets and victims of vicious raids from the outcasts of the Fringes. However, if the Fringes residents decline our offer, we shall diligently continue our watch over our prized cities from any means of raid or attack. We shall provide local farmers and residents with basic militia training, and close-combat. If elected, the NDPL will build and operate several guard towers throughout main towns and villages for stronger protection. These outposts will serve as a means of attacking raiders on foot, or watching over the town for oncoming enemies. Much money will also be invested in the inventions and research of better weaponry and combat tactics. We hope to invent and manufacture advanced tactical weapons to help with both our offensive and defensive military. Not only will we focus on ground protection, but we shall include research for better armored ships, to help with the exploration of the South.
