------The Ninja Pirate Monkey------
"Yarr!" the strange monkey growled
Beneath his ninja mask he scowled,
Ready to snuff my life
With his long, sharp ninja-knife.
"No!" I cried, "Spare me please!"
I begged the monkey on my knees.
The ninja-pirate monkey said,
"Now I will cut off your head."
The monkey drew his deadly sword
And let loose a cry to summon his hoards
They came pouring over the hill,
The ninja-pirate monkeys gathered to kill.
They gathered around me sneering,
Over the shoulders of each other, peering--
Waiting for the moment to strike,
Poised to thrust with their glistening steel spikes.
"Now you will die," the monkey hoards chanted
Each of their eyes deviously slanted
One of the monkeys raised high his sword
And as he struck, I felt no more.
------Fish with no socks------
Where are my socks, fish?
They have been missing for days.
Did you take them, fish?
For your unholy purpose.
I lament for my socks
and your torturous ways
Now my socks lie
Deep beneath the water
Do not lie to me,
I see it in your fishy eyes.
Your bubbles betray.
