Hi, My name is May and my husband's name is Mic. First of all i would like to welcome you to our website and thank you for your time into reading this.

My husband and I met in Yokosuka, Japan where our family were stationed. His dad was in the military and so is mine, and still active at this moment. We graduated in Kinnick Highschool in 1999. My husband joined the Navy right after highschool and went to bootcamp soon after. While he was finishing up his school as a corpman in Chicago, my family and I were in transition to go back to the states the following year. We were stationed in Oxnard, California, and oddly enough, my husband-then boyfriend got orders to the same place we were in. It was Destiny. As he did his duty at the Naval base, I went to school for Medical Assisting and working 2, sometimes 3 odd jobs here and there. About a couple of months since he was stationed there he got some news that he would be moving to San Diego, Ca. soon after his training was over.

I wanted more than anything to move closer to him and that's what we decided. About a year after he was stationed in San Diego, I moved in with him and lived with him for less than a year until we decided to get married, just to make everything legal. I worked as a secretary in North Island base while he worked very long hours in Balboa Hospital. Even before we got married, We knew we wanted to have kids together. Maybe I wanted it sooner than him, but I knew the timing was off because we were too busy working and me going to college. We barely saw each other that first year we were married!! About a year later, our duty station was changed again and moved to Oceanside, Ca. He worked at Camp Pendelton, while I worked as a bank teller in Wells Fargo. Kids? No..again, we were TOO busy!! We lived a very happy and laid back life in Oceanside. I think that's when we decided to start trying to have a child.

After about 2 years in Oceanside, we found out that we were going to get station to yet another place, and this time we were going to Iwakuni, Japan, our first duty station away from our family!

And so our Journey began...
