*Pauses Rage Beat* Well then, here's the story. This page will be moving very shortly onto shaw's webspace (I know blogger doesn't work there, the 1 blogger page will be somewhere else) and I will continue to post updates as if nothing happened. I am moving the page because, of course, I've dropped SFU Surrey, at least for now. (Therefore the webspace will be gone soon.) I am taking some time off and considering programs elsewhere. In the meantime I have some other "obligations" and things are going quite well. As you can see by the cams on the left, someone who is extremely nice to me has been picking up these little Spider-Man figurines and I absolutely love them. On another note, I've finished the Hansel Blooper Reel which I've been intending on doing, and it is rather humorous, and was good practice for what's to come. So I'm ok at editing totally on my own. I thought I had more to say but I can't think of anything right now, so I shall post some other time. Check back for the new location. Salut.
Well I've sort of had a crappy day, but it did have its good points. I feel like posting. Anyways, as you can tell by the images on the left, I'll put relevant (or not) pictures there... I like doing that, so I'll continue... So I'm really hyped over my new firewire card, which is installed and working properly now. I'm quite excited. Craig found our DV so I'll be going to get that soon, and then I can play around with it. I'm also still crazy over that anime *points to left* yet I've only rewatched the first ep five zillion times. I have an upcoming film project based on it within the next year, so I'll keep any firm plans posted. I have a lot of support, which is surprising, so we'll see what'll come of this now rather ambiguous project. (This is completely outside of schoolwork by the way; I don't have a class relating to film annoyingly enough.) But yes, very exciting. My new system fan installed in a snap, so now my case is extra cool. It makes me want to mount another one in this other nifty place I found in my case today. (I forgot what it was like in there...) Anyways, Lorne and I made some schedule changes after speaking with the very cooperative design instructor. My new schedule (table ripped from Rob) is available by clicking the pic on the left, take a guess which one is the schedule. So now I have a 4 day weekend and I'm in more than 1 stupid lecture with Jayme, etc. (Oh, and I guess one more with Lorne, the studio lab that we weren't actually together for.) So that's cool. Otherwise, my design class was informative, and our triad (Jayme Lorne and I) each drew what I found to be very intriguing pieces at the art gallery. Maybe I'll put that up after I scan it, I really like mine. (Not my drawing, the original piece that I copied.) And I wont get into the crappy parts of the day. Maybe another time. Well anyways, I guess that's it for today.
The story of my life. So I'm back city-bound now. Welcome back, Kevin. Thank you. And guess what I forgot. The only thing I forgot. ... The power cable for my computer. So I had to improvise. I took the power cable from my monitor and I'm using it to power the computer... and I'm using my old spare 12" warped green-hued yellow-skinned monitor. (With convienient power cable ATTATCHED to it.) This is pure torture... I don't care that I have 2 spares in Chilliwack. I am taking my wallet, and going down to Future Shop tomorrow. This just figures. I have a 19" monitor sitting beside me... I"m gonna freak. What I'm wondering is, where are the spare power cables from Bev's old computer? Craig has forgotten his cables when LANing with me, and we'd go into the closet and get the spare... and now it's gone... that's like... the most annoying thing in the world. Not to mention the drive here was horrible. I didn't have a headache when I left but the lights really effected me for some reason and my HEAD! Gahhhh... I took this new nifty extra strength painkiller my Mom got me... and here's the verdict: it doesn't work. At least not for this headache. Boo. This suckssss. Well I'm off. *poof*
