New Stuff (11-16-03)
Moon
Moon in midnight sky
See it glimmer from heaven
Gracefully it hangs
Stars
Heavenly bodies
Illuminate the night time
Shining in the night
Grass
Single blade of grass
Single grasshopper on top
Pale green and blue
Bee
Nature of the bee
Flies around the yard and stings
Bee collects pollen
Tree
Tree stands tall and brown
Branches hang off of thick trunk
Red fruit hangs from branch
Death
Death takes over quick
Leaves a body cold and stiff
Cold like winter night
Wind
Wind blows through trees
Rustles leaven and moves clouds
Damp rain makes wind moist
Hatred
Hating enemy
It has been so comforting
To know I hate you
Television
Television on
Amazing images
Television off
Blanket
Blanket is so soft
So comforting and safe
Wonderfully safe
Vine
Green vine crawls up wall
Vine covers wall completely
Pretty green ivy
The Left Arm of Nuit
Does the Sun rise quietly in the east?
No, it's rays scream for vengeance against the
dark of the early morning.
Does the wind howl as the sea breeze comes to
land?
No, it simply whispers a soft melody as it blows
through the trees.
But you and I see the sky differently;
To you, it's the top of the Earth
And to to, it's the left arm of Nuit
No closer to the Earth than the nucleus of the
galaxy.
See the sun inside the star of gold
The star is not one, but none.
It is none but all
The translucence of infinite space
And the indefinite body of time
Escape
The object of my hatred
The object of my fear
Brought forth through the betrayal of my loved
one
Brought forth to my eyes a sign of terror
Running
Running from that which I cannot escape
My mind has imprisoned me
"I cannot escape", he said
Trapped in the cell of his mind
He scraped at the bars, trying to get out
Trying to flee from that which he loved, and
at the same time hated
Victim of circumstances
His own mind's prisoner, he was
A Street called Dementia
As I walk down a street called Dementia
My eyes don't believe the sights they see
A man on a leash being walked by his dog
He sniffs at the fire hydrant and does his business
on the asphalt
A newspaper stand selling people
The taxi cabs drive themselves and the red stoplight
means "go"
Backwards means forwards, and forwards means
backwards
Airplanes roll down the street, and cars fly
in the sky
A Change In Sensations
I. Dusk
A cool breeze floats by
Leafs rustle
The sky changes color
The firmament goes from orange to pink
Leafs rustle
Streetlights glow
Birds fly to their nests
A cool breeze floats by
Stars are born to dusk
The firmament goes from pink to darkness
Streetlights shine in the semi darkness
The birth of the stars illuminate the sky
Dusk is born
II. Nightfall
Night creeps by
Darkness embodies the earth
Crickets sing their night song
The land sleeps
Darkness embodies the earth
Night creeps by
The moon's image reflects on a quiet pond's surface
The night blooming jasmine exposes it's scent
Crickets sing their night song
Night creeps by
III. Sunrise
A golden globe rises on the horizon
It's orange glow radiates through the clouds
The birds rise to greet the morning dew
A golden globe rises on the horizon
Warm rays flood the air
They overwhelm the falling darkness
The orange glow outpours onto the earth
From a body outside the planet, it shimmers and
gleams from a distance
A golden globe rises on the horizon
Dripping
Dripping comes the rain
Dripping dripping dripping
Wash away the sanctity of the sun
Slowly pouring the dawn onto the earth
The clouds bleed their souls onto the morning
Rooster crows guide the light through the spectrum
that is the sky
Burning burning burning
The first rays of light pour through the rain
Dripping dripping dripping
Dim Star
Within my reach
Yet so far apart
We stand, two different stars in one system
Your light shines on all
Yet when your light shines on me, I feel a lonely
distance
A lonely dimness
My star shines dim without your fusion
Without your love
All I seek
Without you
My star burns out
Specter
A specter haunts me
It taps me on the shoulder
And when I turn around, it's not there
I take in the sweet nectar of the sun
And still find myself in the dark
The monster on my shoulder increases in size
The monkey on my back pounds harder
The Child of Aphrodite
The sweetest music
The child of Aphrodite
Make war against the silence of the night
The machinery of light
The glow of the moon
And the hiss of the snake of redemption
The pale sky made of clay shouts my name
Bliss
Reality snaps in two
All that's there is me
And I'm not even there
Nothing to do or see
Everything's gone
Nothing to do or see
All is bliss
All is me
Third Eye
Stepping through a field
My vision goes black
A body in a new place
Old as the dark
A new eye opens
A third watcher appears
A new perspective born to sight
I see through the blackness
I see what no one else can see
Extended vision
Farther down the road, I surpass all
I see what others don't care to see
I see what others don't dare to see
Wrath
How can the flower evaporate like water
When the hand is only as quick as the eye
The flower unfolds and dies
The wrath of the tidal wave is not as strong
as the wrath of the winter
Helios Shines
Helios shines
Shine on, shine on
My soul cries
Cry on, cry on
Forgotten rays of the sun
Shine until the day is done
Helios shines
Shine on, shine on
Alone
Am I alone?
Should I stay where I am
Do I stop or do I go?
Where is this train going?
Will it take me to a better place?
Will it leave me where I'm at?
I've traveled so far, yet I've gotten nowhere
Take me nowhere, or take me home
A Glow Beyond the Clouds
The light in my eyes blinds me
I can't see
While I see all
Entrapped between the sun and the sky
The sun sets
Neither in the west, nor the east
A glow beyond the clouds
Question
A question is asked
The answer never comes easy
What do I
How can I live without the answer
The bigger the question, the harder the answer
The Meaning of the Sunrise
What is the meaning of the sunrise?
The apple is only red to the blind
What is the secret of the ox?
The wind only blows on the bodies of the dead
The oyster has no pearl
The clam has no shell
Turn Back Time
If you could turn back time, would you?
Would you go through it all again?
Would you change the circumstances?
Would you grow once more, or would you just revert
back to what you were?
For a single second, would you allow yourself
to be what you once were?
If you could turn back time, would you?
The Epidemic of Lost Youth
As I grow, my life grows shorter
There's no solution to the epidemic of lost youth
With anxiety I anticipate my demise
Too slow, yet too fast comes the ed
Too fast for the eye, and too slow for the mind
Slow is death as it comes too fast
I Missed You
I missed you
I had you
I lost you
I looked for you
I couldn't find you
I envied you
I needed you
I had you
I lost you
I missed you
Holy Wars
The fight for God is a contradiction of terms
For only through peace will we reach salvation
Brothers kill brothers for control
When they have no control and never will
The souls are damned the minute they swing the
sword
Through holy wars man serves the devil
Through turmoil, they kill themselves
Misguided Souls give up redemption in their search
for justice
Peace has never been seen
As through all time, we have made the answer
to our disputes the sword
Cast a Stare
You cast a stare at me
I lose control
My anger burns inside me
I've crossed a road you pushed me down
You made me what I am
You made me what I never was
Virus
A virus is eating me alive
It mutates
It has mutated who I am
All the cells in my body have changed since I
was young
I am something I never wanted to be
I am something I never should have become
A dark hour rests upon me
I have been destroyed
The Sun and the Moon
The circumference of the sun
The eye of the beholder
The temperament of Set, and the Beauty of Ra
Burn upon our brows, oh splendoured serpent!
The sun and the moon cannot eclipse out hearts
With every gust of wind comes the animosities
of time, and the passion of eternity
Expect it not from the east, nor the north
For Forever comes with the heat of a warm summer's
night
The Axis of Our Minds
Wide open spaces
Closed door
Parallel lines on the plane of life
We cross
Equidistant, yet intersecting
We meet at the center or the crossroads
We see our fears in the axis of our minds
Undaunted, we struggle
We struggle until we're broke
Till there's nothing left of us
Broken
We're broken
Not by who we are, but what we are
Two different lines intersecting
At the axis of our minds
Time
Time is of the essence
Forever is of the now
Surely I tell you, time is unimportant
When I was Young
When I was young I had no compassion
I hurt others
The results were inevitable
They hurt me back
When I look back at all the time I spent taking
love and giving pain
It's funny how I've changed
I see the error of my ways
When I was young I had no compassion
I hurt others
Musical Notes in my Head
Musical notes in my head
Vibrating
Pulsating
A soft melody
Penetrating the night
Musical notes in my head
Spinning
Dancing
And penetrating the night
The soft music goes turbulent
Anticipating it's next move
Vibrating
Pulsating
Spinning in my head
Musical notes
Spinning
Dancing
And penetrating the night
Tunnel Vision
Tunnel vision
My mind is set on one thing
A blank stare
My mind goes black
My mind goes back
Tunnel vision
My mind is set on one thing
The television screen goes dim
New images appear
Images more fantastic than ever
Tunnel vision
My mind is set on one thing
A Dragon Flues
A dragon flies
Through the sky
It soars
The clouds pass it by with ease
As they float in the sky
A dragon flies
It's breath of fire annihilates all doubt
As the clouds float by
A dragon flies
Through the sky
Free from inhibitions
Imagining the Worst
I sometimes imagine the worst
The worst that can happen
The worst that will happen
Terrible Images
The worst kind
I struggle
With the worst of thoughts
And the worst imagination possible
Forty Mile-per-hour Winds
Forty mile-per-hour winds
Blowing
Blowing
Trees bend
Leafs fly
Animals run for over
Blowing
Blowing
The sky turns black
Rain pours
The streets flood
Forty mile-per-hour winds
Blowing
Blowing
Devastating the soil

Renaissance (Sonnet)
The revision
of the soul
The new birth
The forming
of a whole
Set here on
earth
A new place
a new time
A new face
It's now mine
A rebirth of
the soul
A forming
of a whole
A new time
A new place
It's now mine
A new face
Sighs Unseen
I dream of marvelous creatures
I dream of sights unseen
I see your face's features
I see them in my dreams
I see the wonderful colors
The rainbow does unfold
There is here no one other
At the place which I behold
A new time is appearing as such
A new dawn has been unveiled
It really is too much
To humbly be hailed
A Savior Appears
A savior appears
He creates my soul a new
I will not die
Even unto death
I will live
He saves my soul
Life has a new purpose
And death cannot touch me
A savior appears
Haunted
Struggling
Struggling to overcome my past
I am haunted
Haunted by my inner fears
By the things that tear me apart
My inner child has fallen
I have been betrayed by my own mind
Nieve Servant
Servant
Serving only my master
Servant
Trusting one being
Yet trusting all
Servant
Nieve
Servant
Serving slave and master of none
I follow one path
The true path
Servant
Trusting only what I know I can trust
Trusting all
And trusting none but one
True Grace
True grace does not come overnight
It is not achieved, but rather it is given
There is but one giver of grace
All that seek to be like him fail
For he is grace, and grace is he
Alone
He is alone
Yet he is in all
He stands
Taller than a fortress
Embodied by the sun and the moon
And at his right hand sits true grace
Accomplishments
Our accomplishments speak loud
They define us
They show who we are
They make us who we have become
Behind them lies another factor
The stones on which our accomplishments are built
are our failures
