·        explain cures for boasting and arrogance

·        identify examples of rancor and boasting and arrogance in their own lives

·        discuss issues with humor, animal torture, racism, etc.

·        have students work in groups to discuss examples of rancor  and solutions and present ideas to class

·        discuss boasting and arrogance as a class, calling on students to recall signs and cures to put on board
