The One I never knew
The One I longed to see
The One who saved me from my sins on the cross at Calvary
The one who took my punishment and shame
And cast them into the open flame
I am now forgiven, although I do not deserve it
I am forgiven for the fact that God shed His blood for me
Upon the cross at Calvary
