Harry Potter. Marauder's era Remus/Sirius slash fanfiction. I don't own the characters, but not for lack of wanting.

Chocolate

Remus bit off a chunk of the Merlin's Best Chocolate bar. He liked to keep it in his mouth until it melted, then swirl the creamy substance around with his tongue until the sweetness of it was overwhelming. He closed his eyes for a moment, savoring the flavor, then swiped his tongue across his lips, coating them in the melted chocolate.

He opened his eyes. Sirius was gazing at him, a mischevious glint shining in his pupils and a hungering smile on his face that stretched beyond the curtain of soft black hair that was draped fiendishly around his cheekbones. Remus could almost sense his tail wagging.

Maintaining eye contact, Remus took another bite and reclined in his chair, sinking back so far that his bum met the edge of the cushion. He heard Sirius inch forward in the seat across from him. Grinning, Remus played into it more, tilting his head back and letting a low moan stir in the bottom of his throat.

"You're an impish bastard, you know that." Remus casually lifted his head and smiled. Sirius's excitement over sweets could only be overridden by his excitement towards the werewolf. His fingers were drumming nervously on the arm of the chair and he seemed to have grown so pale that one could only wonder where all of his blood was flowing. Remus leaned back once more and laughed.

"It's that time of the month again."

Sirius stood.

"Shall I fetch the leash?"

Remus took another mouthful of chocolate.

"Imph you phing you 'an ma-esh a airph wiph da' ain' bo'er."

"Pardon?"

He chewed the chocolate slowly, ignoring Sirius's impatiance.

"I said, 'If you think you can manage the stairs with that giant -'"

But he never could finish his sentence, because Sirius took this opportunity to crawl onto his lap, pushing aside the large bar of chocolate and grabbing the clasp of his robes with one hand. Bending his head down, Sirius kissed his temple, then moved his lips to Remus's earlobes and whispered how he thought, perhaps, he could manage something else.

Remus breathed a soft, sort of anxious laugh. Realizing his objective, Sirius moved his lips to Remus's and pressed gently, letting his tongue graze the inside of his mouth to taste the sweet flavor that lingered there. Remus pressed up against him, feeling for the buttons on his shirt, but Sirius pushed his hands away and stood up, smirking.

Remus appeared more dissappointed than insulted. He sent a questioning glance up at his boyfriend, but Sirius only winked in response, then turned and ambled triumphantly towards the boy's dormitory.

In his hands, Sirius held a half-eaten bar of Merlin's Best Chocolate.
