Tips in Sneaking by HBK and HHH(these tips can help)

Following Tips From HBK

1. Don't rush to the microfilm, unless you think you can outsmart everyone by doing so

2. When starting off, rush to a safe or good hiding place

3. Don't ever stay in one hiding spot too long

4. After killing/stunning someone, keep moving

5. When you're in a good hiding spot, it's always good to equip stun gernades to your support weapon ©, stun gernades are probably the best weapon besides the XM and MK22, so use them up wisely

6. You don't always have to throw the chaff gernade before you grab the microfilm

7. It's a good idea to grab the microfilm, and head one direction, throw a chaff, and go the other direction

8. When changin to a different weapon or equiptment, don't just stand there, try to roll, and when your in mid air rolling, try to hurry and switch to that item

9. Sometimes if you kill off alot of people one by one and keep changin your position, you might be able to get away with nobody knowing where you are, or what you're going to do next

10. Killing lots of people also makes them back off from trying to hunt you down because they know they'll end up just dying

11. Instead of rushing to push start to start as snake, wait out the whole 20 seconds it gives you, making it harder for everyone to track you down with sonar because by that time, everybody will be spread out on the map, and most people will already use up their sonar

12. When going for the goal you should roll alot, and make use of the 3rd person camera view to look all around you, so you know to kill someone that's behind you or not

13. You can use smoke gernades as dummys to throw torwards one microfilm and grab the other, or use them for the film that you're going to grab

14. Make use of every weapon/item that's given to you, besides the book.. because they seem kinda pointless to me

15. Once you're in a good hiding spot, you can plan out how you want to finish the mission, make sure you change your camoflague for the map and spot you'll be heading on into

16. Most importantly, use the stealth camoflague as much as possible, but only use it when you need it

17. You should conserve the stealth camoflague as much as possible for whenever you grab the microfilm and make a run for the goal

18. If there is a gang of people chasing you, you might want to turn around, lay down or kneel.. and try aiming for all their heads or killing them all

19. Stun gernades also make for a great escape weapon if you have alot of people chasing after you, but not so great if Friendly Fire is on because you can stun yourself

20. Try to be as unpredictable as possible, you've seen all the paths all the other Snakes have taken, so make a new one for yourself

21. Remember, there is more than one microfilm..you can trick almost the whole clan of gaurds if you steal one microfilm, drop it, throw a chaff gernade and either come back for the one you dropped, or steal the other one

22. Sometimes if you circle around the map after killing people or stunning.. then return to your spawn point, nobody will suspect that you're still there so you can kinda start the mission out fresh again

23. Don't be scared or rushed all the time, you CAN actually sneak! Sometimes it's most useful using stalk, making you virtually silent, seeing as most people will be trying to hear for you since it's hard to see you

24. If you need to take some kind of rooftop to buy yourself some time, you could place a book by the ladder (it's cheap, but it's really the only use for books)

25. If you make contact with a shotgunner, don't try to fight it out with him, try to escape or get far enough away from him to stun or kill him, avoid close range combat with a shotgunner at all cost

26. People who use SVD can be tricked out alot of times, if they're laying in your path from victory, try rolling left and right while heading for the goal

27. Make sure to take out your biggest threat first, before you do anything. This includes people who use RPG, flamethrower, or SVD. It's best to stun them, and try to go for the win before they can get up

28. If someone encourages you into a CQC battle, don't buy it.. avoid it at all cost to avoid being stunned.

29. You don't HAVE to kill everything and everybody that you see, sometimes it's best to just run away or take a new path if they got you sighted first

30. Just because you're close to a microfilm, doesn't mean you have to take that one either. If someone sees you going towards one microfilm, you might want to throw a chaff gernade and hurry to the other microfilm while still keeping your cover

31. Be smart, if there's claymores by the microfilm you want to steal, shoot them out with the XM first, however you can also make this as a distraction, and go for the other microfilm after you shot out the claymores in the other

32. Just like claymores, you have to spot out for any ambush tricks as well. Keep a look out for people in boxes trying to surprize attack you, and any other traps they might set out for you

33. If you win as Snake, you probably don't want to do the same thing you did last round. This is the hard part about being Snake, you have to constantly change your route everytime, and that's what makes a good Snake if he's successful at changing his route. Planning ahead of time and being ready for whatever's in your way, is an important key.

34. Even though your weapons are completely full, you can drop something you know you're not going to use. I don't use the Mosin alot, so I drop it sometimes if I run outta ammo for my XM, I can hurry and pick up someone's AK47 and go to town with it. It's never a good idea to drop the XM though because that's a pretty standard weapon for Snake. Alot of people use the XM also..so you're likely to get more ammo plus more surpressors. It's also really fun to kill people with the shotgun as Snake or flamethrower but not suggested to do

35. Just because you know your CQC slam is an instant stun, doesn't mean you have to use it all the time. Only use the CQC stun when you know it's going to be least expected by your enemy. If you need to stun someone, throw a stun gernade, pull out your MK22 to finish the rest of the job, or roll at them. Any of these combos should get the job done to stun them, just don't think you're some kind of CQC master because it will get you killed sometimes.

36. Get to know the map you're sneaking on very well, be acknowledged of all vents, windows and tunnels. Just don't use the vents when they're close to your spawn point. Never camp in the vents either, you use them to get to a certain area without being seen, and get out.

37. If you get ambushed by a few people, hurry and try to throw one of your stun gernades, and don't waste any time in trying to escape, the stun gernades should make for a couple second getaway, and even better with your stealth camo on

38. If you see someone running at you with a knife, do not try to CQC battle with them, because if they have a knife, they most likely know how to use it, take them out if you can from a far range, and be on your toes for them around corners as well as shotgunners and point blank snipers who like to CQC you and end it quick

39. If you got a hunch that alot of people will be waiting at the goal for you, throw some stun gernades near the goal and maybe your smoke gernade before going any further

40. If you know how to use them, smoke gernades can buy you a few seconds for a getaway, throw them down in a path you want to take, or if there's a swarm of guards in the area, but be quick because they don't last very long

Following Tips From HHH(dont have to follow these tips but these tips work so well for me)

Tips in Sneaking/TDM

1. Boxes saves Lifes

2. Save Battery for Steath Camo by using the box then once microfilm is recived use Steath Camo trust me it works well for me

3. Chafts are for pussy's(only if your snake) Boxes are the shit

4. Dont aim just shoot - Quote from Solid Snake in MGS1 aiming takes too long so go into first person and just shoot you will most likly get headshots too thats how i get headshots all the time(for the people thats wondering how I always headshot them so easy)
