... are incredibly stupid.
Wanna have an example of the best kind? Well, take Belanna, your lovely, partly-retarded hostess ;)
On your left it is fat and good to read "free layouts".
Well, what did genius Belanna do?
Firstly, she had the section laying on the server for weeks and forgot to ... put a link up in the site so that people are actually able to view and download them. Whow.
But that's not it.
She was so happy that I finally had the seciton up but wondered why up till now noone had downloaded one of her free layouts.
It took Verena to make me realise that I had managed not only to copy the link-code I then inserted wrong, but I even managed to shred it into wonderful lil pieces that had every browser capitulating.
It's just that I always have my mind occupied with so many things at one time that I manage to fuck it all up wonderfully every now and then ;)
My friends even say that I'd sometimes forget my head at one place if it wasn't attached to my body...

Well, anyways, the section is now fully working and I hope you enjoy the free layouts :)

And on the positive side of life, up till now I'm feeling a lot better and not ill anymore. Take that, you darned dawning flu! ;)

And for the final rant - has anyone ever had to read "The Tortilla Curtain" by some US writer called T.C. Boyle? We're reading it in English class right now and this book is about to enter my hitlist of the "top ten of most boring, stupid or just uninteresting books ever".
How can someone manage to make the topic of illigal imigration from Mexica into the US look THIS boring?!?
AWWW! Why do we always have to read every really bad book out there in class?!? Grrr.

I think I'm gonna be sick again.
Have had shivers of cold for the whole day and I feel kinda... burnt out for no reason. Really as if I had no energy left.

This really can't be happening, I so don't have the time and whatnot to be sick again.

But I guess after the wonderful weather in Vienna (up to the nienties F/ 32°C) the friggin' rain-cold-ugh climate good ol' Germany features at the moment it's really no surprise that my system got confused and I sick.

Well, I'll stick to listening music and watching TV im my bed for today, let's pray the best and hope it's only a temporal little cold or whatever

12/May/2003: I am BAAAAAAAAAK!

Obviously, I'm back. lol.
Vienna is certainly the most beautiful city of the old world and therefore of the whole world. Never before have I seen so many so beautiful, fragile, unique and vintage houses, palaces, manisons and whatever in so little space. The view everywhere was just breathtaking. A city this big, and there was like... nothing ugly about it. Nowhere. Even the poorer districts somehow managed to look classy.
And they don't seem to have a problem with criminality. Whow.

I soo wanna move there. *sigh*
So, if you ever get to Europe, besides visiting Barcelona, Paris and London, don't miss out Vienna!

But enough about that, I spent once again tons of money (can you imagine they had 7 differend H&M's, 5 stores of Zara and several Mango, Palmers and whatnot in one single part of the city?!?) and am in a sort of "Matrix fever". Bought an issue of UK's "Empire" movie magazine today, which was like, all dedicated to the Matrix.
Whow, I can't wait :)

5/May/2003: New Layout & "holiday"

Okay, I was so in love with the "Persephone's realm" layout I made for the free layouts part of this site so that I had to make a modified one for the TR homepage :)

I'll be gone on "holiday" (well, actually it's a trip with my class at college, lots of cultural and sightseeing and historical stuff) to Vienna until May 13th.
Yes, I know, I'm barely back from my holiday in Italy. *g*
Life can be nice sometimes!

Pearl is once more in charge of the domain and there also is now the up-and-running hostee blog if you have a question!

3/May/2003: I MADE IT!!!

LOL, okay, that's enough.
If you hadn't already guessed, I made it, I have my driving license now. The assayer at driving school was a pain in the behind (he even had me control the depth of the car's tread and had me drive around and at some very nasty edges and parts of town) but now it's all all right :)

Or better: it will be all right.
Because these idiots at the town council somehow "lost" my license card and now I'll have to wait until it turns up again so that I can drive legally.
But the most im portant thing is now that this darned driving school thingie is finally over *yay*

Plus, I'll be gone to Vienna on Monday (I'll stay until the 13th) and so there's plenty of time for the clerks at the council to re-find my license. ugh.

In other news, the hostee blog is finally up and running :)

29/April/2003: 4 days to go

I'm a mental wreck by now.
Gosh, this impending driving test is killing me.
Normally I'm not one to panic quickly or anything, however, when it comes to proving something practical to a teacher or an assayer, I'm... to express it mildly... not at my best.
I remember in sixth grade when we had to perform solos on our flutes in musical education at school. I always was good when I was performing with others or alone at home, but I totally sucked when I had to perform for my teacher to get a grade. *sigh*
This is really haunting me, I even have nightmares of this darned test.

On the positive side, Pearl's got a new layout and she got her driving license just today. Congrats, hon :)

I made several new free layouts for the site (go check them out *g*) and am especially proud of this one, a "Matrix" - inspired one featuring the etheral Monica Bellucci.

Okay, I'll go chew on my fingernails some more ;)

25/April/2003: Hostee Blog, Graphics etc.

Ugh, I think my ego got just flushed away in the toilet. Had a driving lesson today that was the essence of horror itself. My teacher only criticized me, so much that I just wanted to burst into tears and go home. Wonderful. And only one week to go till the final test. I'm kinda full of aggression and I'll go buy me a punching bag tomorrow. Sounds like a good idea.

But to the more important stuff:
Marli (and Amy, who told me about it) came up with the wonderful idea of a hostee blog.
I think that's a very nice thing, and to be honest I had been playing the same idea in my head for quite some time.
So, the new blog will be found here and you're all invited to blog ;)
The first layout was also made by Marli, so mucho thanks to her!

I made some free hiatus graphics since I had to do something to calm me down.

And last but not least, the following new hostees moved in, so give them your love!
