Topic: Tired
I've spent almost all my life living within 30 miles of where I was born, so you'd think I'd be used to the weather and the heat in summer. You'd think so ... but the fact is I get less tolerant of the heat the older I get. Is this some sort of cosmic joke that what goes around, comes around? We start out life as needy, cranky babies sometimes ... and that's how we end up life?
I think it would be different if California actually had seasons that gently changed so one could grow accustomed to the change. We, however, seem to go from winter to hellishly hot summer over night. Go to bed one night and it's 60º and you need blankets on the bed. Wake up the next morning and it's 100º and you think you're going to die.
Thank God for the pool which is where I'm headed now.
