Hello, my name is Andrew Helsel. I live in Chillicothe, Ohio. I made this website simply for one reason, I need your help. I recently started school at Ohio University Chillicothe, and am attempting to get an associates degree in law enforcement technology. I am only the second person in my family going to college. Now you always hear the saying, “college is affordable”, but that’s a bunch of baloney. I did receive some financial aid, which cut my cost of tuition in about half (the govt. gave me a loan of 875 dollars), and now I am stuck with having to pay $ 660 dollars every quarter out of pocket. This would be possible if I didn’t have to buy food, gas, books, and had a better paying job (I’m a cashier at a local grocery store; community markets). My family is unable to help me due to their own financial situations, and here I am trying to make something of myself and putting myself through school. I got a 23 on my ACT, have attempted several scholarships, but no luck. So let’s get to the point, I need your help...help me make it through school! Please understand that every penny you send, or any information you can give will be appreciated. I am not asking for huge donations or anything, any amount will be very helpful. On the calendar page I will list all the donations I have received as well as those who have sent them (with their permission) and keep you all posted on every aspect of my education and school, thank you so much for your help!
