The way the race Protoss started...

The Protoss race first started off as a experiment for a perfect race just like the Zerg race. But the Protoss had also over powered the Xel' Naga. With the Protoss having their powerful shields, they are very strong and smart. Not even having mouths, they talk to eachother telepathically.
