Easter 2006 Rally/Scavenger Hunt
One bright Sunday afternoon in April 2006, Rusty's West End in Bedford held an Easter-themed rally/hunt. It was a beautiful sunny day for a drive around Lawrence County.
At the start of the rally, each participating car was given a hard-boiled egg with instructions to bring it back decorated. We did not provide them with anything other than the egg - it was up to them to "think outside the box" and come up with a method of decorating it. We were very impressed by the eggs returned at the end of the rally. Not only were all the eggs returned in good condition (no breaks!), they were wonderfully decorated.
As teams returned, they also participated in a blindfolded easter egg hunt, where one person (who could see) would lead his/her partner to eggs and the blindfolded person had to pickup the eggs.
Below are pictures taken at the start and end of the rally. As you can see, everyone had a great time! And we even had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny!
