In the 1920's a huge change was women's fashion. A flapper was a women who rebelled and wore a new style of clothes. Not all women were flappers, but they set a new tone along with the Jazz Age. Because of improved methods to manufacture clothing affordable to working families, the average person was able to have a sophisticated sense of fashion. Women's clothing became less fitted, and lose. Their clothes also become more revealing then earlier times. For men, the sacque suit became an everday appearance. In formal, a man would wear the tail coat.
