eCarConnexions Business Narrative

Following is a brief outline of the Essentials of e-Business Computing Web Presence project that I completed for a fictitious company called Car Connexions.
Car Connexions is an auto leasing and sales broker. With clients in both Canada and the USA, the company matches client need with auto dealers. Car Connexions does not sell or lease automobiles. It receives a request from a client for information on buying or leasing an automobile. The company then researches the dealer that best meets the requirements of the client. The web arm of the Car Connexions business is eCarConnexions
Points to note: Car Connexions does not maintain an inventory of vehicles. It acts as a broker connecting clients to the most appropriate dealer. eCarConnexions maintains specific information about each dealer. It also manages client information. When a client purchases or leases a vehicle through one of eCarConnexions’ dealers, the transaction and vehicle information is forwarded to eCarConnexions. Some clients want to know the amount of a lease or purchase payment prior to authorizing a deal. The eCarConnexions management team wants to review information within the MIS. To ensure good customer service, the administrative staff must be able to provid this informatoin quickly and accurately. *please refer to the ERD for more information
