Thanks for Checking out my website. This website is here to give families options. If you have an elderly family member that needs things done and you are not able to find the time due to your busy schedule please drop me an email. I work by the hour. I am located in Edmonton Alberta. I am a certified PCA/NA, I have been working in this field for approx.. 2 years. I feel the need for personal care is important because, family members are all too often placed in larger community centers/long term care facilitlies. Our family members are not going to recieve the quality of care the facility is promising because the staffing level is not up to a level that is acceptable! Most workers will have between 7-9 residents in the morning and up to 15 in the evening. There is no way our family members are receiving the quality care that they deserve. For my program I have a vision of starting out with home care and companionship. I would like to see it grow into many small homes with no more then 5 residents per home. At a level like that there would be approx 2 pca's and a parttime nurse working to maintain the quality of life that our wonderfull family's deserve. There would be regular scheduled doctor visit's(atleast once a week!) If you have any question's please feel free to drop me a line.
