Scripts...
The original concept
of the Web Page was on the use pages as a means of communication between
two person in the internet. The development of program interpreters made
changes in the HTML. Interpreters where added to the Web Browser Technology.
Web pages where not merely just texts, pictures, sounds, videos but also
programs.
Scripts is
a high level program in its uncompiled format, meaning it is a plain source
code which can be executed both ways, Server-Side / Client-Side Scripts.

The Web Browser
download the HTML file with program attached to the web page. Scripts
or Applets are executed by the web browser.
Scripts are
readable programs which can be executed by the browser while Applets
are byte-codes or executable files which is non readable.

This setup executes
the program in the Server side.
- Web browser
downloads the page requested
- User fill-in
forms and perform a submission back to the server. During this
time server executes necessary process to complete transaction.
- Server reply
back to the browser, confirmations.
